Zindar onze chauffeur van Driver Hire was in 1 woord: geweldig.
Hij is bescheiden, behulpzaam, heeft humor, galant en initiatiefrijk. Weet de mooiste plekjes van Sri Lanka. En kan veel over het land vertellen. Hij adviseerde ons over tips geven en hoe om te gaan met bijv. Tuktuk taxichauffeurs.

Het dagprogramma werd met ons doorgenomen en als wij relaxmomenten ingebouwd wilden hebben, hield hij daar rekening mee.

Hij is een goede chauffeur, want het verkeer in Sri Lanka is wel wat anders dan wij in Nederland zijn gewend.

Hij heeft er enorm aan bijgedragen dat wij een fantastische vakantie hebben gehad in Sri Lanka. Het was een veilig gevoel dat hij er altijd voor ons was.

Using Sri Lanka Driver Hire on our recent trip to Sri Lanka was the best decision we made when planning our trip. We booked them to collect us from Colombo airport and to drive us for the next 7 days taking in Sigiriya, Kandy, Ella, Mirissa, Galle, Bentota and a couple of extra stops suggested by them along the way.

Our driver, Anees, was exceptional. He was friendly, informative, flexible, courteous, kind…I could go on. The car very spacious, always kept clean and tidy. Along the way Anees made great recommendations and listened to our requests and wishes. A 5-star experience and invaluable in the chaos of the Sri Lankan roads.

Mr. Ikram (owner) gave quick and clear answers to all my questions before my Sri Lanka trip. Everything he said was true. I completed my 7 days private trip without any problems. It allowed me to travel cleanly and safely in the car. It allows me to go wherever I want safely and unconditionally. Mr. Haniyas is friendly, helpful and reliable. He told me everything I needed to know. He always stood by me for my safety and comfort throughout my journey. I completed my trip without any problems. I wish it was possible to travel all over the world with this company 🙂 It is not possible to describe the memories I had here with words. You can choose with confidence.

We had an incredible experience with Sri Lanka Driver Hire. Romesh our driver was knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and made us feel very safe for our first time travelling in Sri Lanka. He also organised a site guide in Polonnaruwa cultural place, making our trip stress free and making sure we got the best experience. Romesh was also available whenever we needed him or wanted to drive somewhere, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our travelling. He also gave great advice on restaurants to eat, sightseeing and taught us a great deal about Sri Lankan culture.

The Car was clean, comfortable and spacious. The car also had working Wi-Fi so we never got bored during the long drives. Not only did we have an incredible driver, Ikram (owner of the company) also provided 24/7 support via WhatsApp and was available whenever we needed him. I couldn’t have asked for a better driving experience! We will definitely be using Romesh from Sri Lanka Driver Hire, again when we come back to Sri Lanka.

It was my first trip to Sri Lanka and it was a very special and memorable because of our driver Rishan who helped us a lot! Rishan was very professional, always picked us up at the agreed time and was very understanding in various situations throughout the trip time. Our driver always shared valuable information and recommendations about Sri Lanka and the places what we visited. Our trip started from Colombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Colombo and it took 6 days in total. He always showed care about us and we felt like we were on this trip with a good friend not driver. I want to say a big thank you again Rishan for the time and energy what you put into making my trip very special and memorable.

Had an amazing trip to Sri Lanka. Mr. Dilshan (Ikram) really arranged the tour greatly. The driver ,his own uncle Mr Husin such a gem guy. He really took gd care of us n fulfill all our wishes there. The food we wanted to taste, the items we wanted to shop , the places we wanted to visit. Really appreciate n respect their attempts to visit few Hindu temples . Even the driver arranged for some charity and donation for the poor people around the temple. Well planned and organized trip. A special thanks to Mr Husin who gave us a family feeling being with him for 7 days. Even he brought us to his house n introduce his children. A well mannered guy ,well dressed n trustworthy man. Very punctual n made our 7 days trip full with sweet memories. Even, Mr. Dilshan gave a surprise gift n treated us dinner on the last day. Very friendly n honest guy. In short, Sri Lanka is a must go country. “Driver Hire” should b ur first choice without any hesitation.

The overall service they provided is really fantastic!
Thanks Mr. Ikram, from the first day I found him for quotation, he keeps showing his profession to me, not only the price is quite nice, the car is new and comfortable, and he can always provide very good suggestion to me, and therefore, I can arrange my best schedule to this trip. He also reply very soon, very efficient that I feel I can totally trust him.

And also thanks Mr. Hussain, my driver, who has very good driving experience that made me comfortable for whole trip, and he is also quite nice to give me some tour guiding and introduction in Kandy and Galle. This is a short trip, but I would say I will definitely choose their service again when next time I visit Sri Lanka

I chose this company after getting a few quotes from various other car & driver organisations. Ikram the owner of “Sri Lanka Driver Hire (Pvt) Ltd” was very professional in all my dealings with him. He was polite, friendly and extremely easy to deal with. He even helped me out with booking a couple of train tickets for later on in my Sri Lanka trip, and also with money exchange. Throughout the whole journey, Ikram has been absolutely amazing! And has become a good friend. I booked a car & driver for 08 days for my trip around Sri Lanka with my wife and my dad. The price for this trip was very reasonable. Our Driver Hussain, were polite, friendly, knowledgeable and most important, He is very safe and careful drivers. I have nothing but praise for his driving skills, (not an easy thing on Sri Lanka roads). To sum things up, I would not hesitate in recommending Ikram and his company.

I needed a company to help me with a car and driver, plus to assist with planning the finer details of a trip and I’m so glad we picked Sri Lanka Driver Hire. We reached out to 5 companies, SLDH sent us the best initial email with a helpful detailed quote. Although not the cheapest, it was the quality we were needing after precious trips to this amazing country. And it wasn’t the most expensive either. Ikram was amazing prior to us arriving with regular responses to my many emails of questions.

Zindar is our driver, he became a valued and very trustworthy member of our holiday and spoke excellent English, drove safely and had our safety as his no.1 priority. We will always remember you as part of our 2024 trip to Sri Lanka, Zindar, huge thanks! PS apologies for the long review but it was important to us to find the right company for this trip, and I can confidently recommend Sri Lanka Driver Hire and will be using them again on future trips.
