We zijn sinds een paar weken terug, van onze reis doorheen Sri Lanka. (Eind mei tot begin juni)
De eerste 8 dagen hebben we gebruik gemaakt van een privé chauffeur (Rishan), deze heeft ons perfect begeleid.
We hebben geen problemen ondervonden van de economische crisis in het land.
De lokale bevolking was zeer blij dat we de reis toch gemaakt hebben en wij ook!
Er werd afgeraden om de reis naar Sri Lanka te maken, wij hebben zelf ondervonden dat dit voor niets nodig is! Er is geen betere manier om Sri Lanka te ontdekken dan met een privé chauffeur, zalig om je nergens zorgen over te moeten maken!

There was good communication with the organisers prior to arrival. They also helped with providing costs for our activities we wanted to do so we could budget effectively.
The best part of our dealings with the company was our driver, Nawal. He went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. He helped book all our excursions when we arrived, recommended food places to eat and was prompt to every pickup time agreed. It was a good 02 days private group trip in Sri Lanka with our 8 family members. Overall the trip was fantastic. We start from Colombo, we visit Sigiriya and Kandy. My wife and I spent a week travelling through central and southern Sri Lanka after a stay in the Maldives. Our driver, Risan, picked us up at the airport and drove us to Sigiriya, then south through hill country, then to Udawalawe National Park, then Sinharaja Forest Reserve, then Galle, and finally to Negombo. We had a comfortable Toyota Camry Hybrid with fully functional A/C (a must in Sri Lanka!). Risan is a safe driver, especially compared to some of the other people we encountered on the road. He also found ATM’s, grocery stores, etc., and argued with hotels that had misplaced our reservations. He showed up unfailingly when we arranged to meet somewhere.
While in general, I fully support the use of public transportation, if you are traveling in a group, I highly recommend Sri Lanka Driver Hire. It will save a lot of time and allow you to reach off-the-track locations. And their prices are very reasonable. I wish we had been able to stay in Sri Lanka for a month instead of a week–it is a beautiful country with friendly people!

We had the most wonderful time during our trip around Sri Lanka with our professional driver Romesh. He was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Romesh also had a lot of great recommendations for trying local food and seeing some amazing places. He has taken good care not only of us but also of our belongings. We had only one day in Colombo Sri Lanka. We start our day trip from Colombo Galle Face Hotel. We got really great service from Sri Lanka Driver Hire.
